Hoots V was held in Marion, North Carolina, quietly nestled at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. There are scenic vistas everywhere.

We came at the invitation of our sponsor, Tom Johnson Camping World and we have taken over their on-site RV park. This year we are 42-coaches strong and looking for a great time!

When Tom Johnson Camping World invited us here and offered us full control of their 60 site campground we just couldn't say no.

The staff here went way beyond our wildest expectations and helped us put on an incredible event including 10 display coaches, an incredible evening bonfire, and a great luncheon for our Newmar Day.
We are so thankful for their welcoming spirit.

Mobile Wash of Florida Sets A New Standard In Shine

Eric C volunteered to arrange for on-site coach wash and wax services with Larry and his team at Mobile Wash of Florida. They traveled to our event and started right away. It didn't take long before everyone wanted these guys to wash and wax their coach. The precision, quality and thoroughness of this crew is unmatched anywhere and we look forward to having them as our official wash/wax vendor for all of our future events.

Off-road Jeep Adventure - Boys And Their Toys

We have made it clear that we are always up for a unique and challenging event and an off-road Jeep adventure certainly fits the bill.

Lloyd F and Steve S took us to an off-road park full of challenging trails that really get the adrenaline pumping. The ruts, steep grades, ravines and washouts were incredibly difficult - and those were just the "novice" trails!

Tech Sessions - A Critical Part Of Every Hoots Event

Every Hoots event features tech sessions. After all, the Hoots group was formed from an online technical forum called iRV2.com. I guess it is in our DNA.
John R led these sessions in the early years and this year Rich S volunteered to lead the discussions and even offered a technical tour of his new London Aire showing all the upgrades and modifications he has completed.
